I am so ultimately blessed that Spirit lead me to find Lisa Rawson. We worked together to birth my son. I was inspired and empowered. I felt confident that the care of my baby and myself was good, but it was, GREAT. Her true life’s calling is as a midwife. In service to birth and Womyns health was clear and apparent as she worked out all sorts of payment methods and plans. Monthly house calls were such a total luxury!
When I went into labor I was again assured; as Lisa arrived-then her assisting midwife-I was in professional hands, literally. As she suited up in scrubs and rubber shoes and set out her medical bag, the two Womyn worked side by side in such a cohesive and loving way. This felt so supportive for my experience it helped me so much because what I was experiencing was SO strong. As it turns out I had forgotten about some family traits in regards to our big baby boys and their shoulders. So in short thank the goddess, MameCheck and Lisa Rawson for a successful birth. I can honestly say Midwives use their Hands where Doctors use Tools. If I had been in a hospital, I would have had a very sad experience. Lisa was so skilled and capable; I am forever grateful to her in our lives.
She is sensitive, full of love, and genealogy. Yet she is firm, proud and confident, as she deserves to be. She is a real Womyn, and an outrageous midwife.
