Lisa helped to bring our daughter Iris into the world in October of 2015. From our first meeting I felt that Lisa honored my wishes as a mother and an individual. She was wonderfully thorough and organized about all of the technical details, paperwork, etc. She followed up with all of our questions and concerns. She was unfazed by our rugged, outdoorsy home setup. She really took the time to support me through all of the myriad stages of emotion that come up before, during and after childbirth. Her confidence, knowledge and compassion made me feel safe and supported. I count Lisa as a true supporter of human rights and as a friend. Lisa has firm dedication to informed consent, client confidentiality and postpartum support and care. She is a valuable asset to our community and is, through her work, helping make the world a more healthy and peaceful place. I would highly recommend her to other expectant families.
